HeyThere
Hello, I am currently on H1b as a Physician. I did my residency in J1 status June 2011-June 2014, got a waiver. Currently on 3 years H1B (July 1 2014-June 30 2017). I have an approved 1797 was extended from July 1 2017-July 30 2020. I have to travel middle of June and will be returning June 27th and current H1B visa stamp expires June 30. Is it safe to go and come back on June 27 with approved extended I797 in hand. OR Go for stamping next Month in Ottawa before travelling in June? Thanks, Link to comment
P.P
I think, you should go for stamping. Not sure if the POE officer will let you in with 3 days left on VISA. Link to comment
