H1B Valid & currently in India

hi All,

I have a  valid H1B till june 2017, My employer filed the H1B Extension by DEC 2016 yet to get approved. 

Currently i am in India came for family emergency, My current employer asking me to stay in India for a month or two

meantime i received an offer from another employer in USA . Can i travel back without knowing the current employer(since i have a valid stamping in my passport ) and ask the new employer to file the H1B extension  once i reach there or what would be my best move ? Please advise.
