H4 visa to H1B visa steps

I am currently on H4 visa (Valid till 2018) living in US since July 2016 . I applied for H1B April 2016 filing from a employer 'A'   when I was in India and got case approved in Jan 2017.Since I was in India when H1B was filed and I moved to USA on H4 visa , my status is still H4 . Now I have offer from another employer 'B' . 
 

What are the steps employer 'B' needs to take for change of my status from H4 to H1B so that I could start working for employer 'B'?

Please Advise.

If you never worked for the original H1 employer, the H1 is gone.

A new employer can file in next year's quota.
