T2208
My Currently employer says he will be revoking my H1 B Visa which is valid till 10th May 2017 as of 14th April 2017. I got a new job offer and they are about to file transfer. Q1: Will there be a problem when filing my transfer? and also will my new employer find out that old petition is revoked? Q2: Do I need to leave US and come back after the new h1 b receipt is received? Q3: Will there be a problem is I stay for 60 days as per new rule in the future petition or GC process? Link to comment
pontevecchio
You should be aware that a H1 employer HAS TO revoke the H1 of an ex employee by law. Link to comment
JoeF
An employer by law has to inform USCIS if a person on H1 no longer works for them, which then results I. H1 revocation. It has no effect on you. Link to comment
