nk1502
My husband and I came to US on L1B/L2 in October 2015. His company has filed for an H1 B petition in this years H1B cap. I have learnt that international travel (if the petition gets selected) can abandon the COS but USCIS will still approve the petition. We have a compelling reason to travel to India in June and I would like to know: 1) if it will have an impact on our L1 which is valid till 2018 2) is it risky to get the H1B approved through consular processing? Can the H1B be activated anytime before the L1 expires? 3) Would it be wise if my husband stays back and I travel alone? Link to comment
