Arrested before GC issued, any port of entry issues

Hi ,

My wife got caught for theft couple of times but arrested once but not jailed for any cases, did community services.

Now she is Green Card holder for last 5 years, GC is issued after the second arrest, every time we go out of country she is held for longer time because of the FLAG arrest record at port of entry and allowed her to into the country.

Also couple of years back her arrested case got expunged.

Question is after the immigration tight rules is it good idea to go back to home country for vacation? Will there be any issue this time at port of entry with GC?
