narain Posted April 5, 2017 Report Share Posted April 5, 2017 Hello All, I came in Fall 2012 for my Masters and I am currently in my STEM OPT extension (which is expiring in June 2017). I have received an admission for PhD in the same field of study for Fall 2017. My current visa is also expiring in June 2017 and I need to extend my visa. Simultaneously, my employer has filed for H1b this April 2017. My intention is to pursue my PhD and go back to India after graduation. Please let me know my options to make sure that I don't have any issues to continue my doctoral program? Link to comment
