I-140 filled awaiting Approval, I-485 to be filled - EB1

Hi,

I have filled my I-140 with my current employer, awiating approval, under EB1 category.

In the process of filling my I-485, can i file this at my own dime and not have any dependency on my employer or is there any further documentation needed from my employer to file by I-485.

Type of EB1 is - Multinational Manager or Executive category

Your employer has filed the GC petition for you. Your petition needed a job offer by the employer.You need to work for this employer for a reasonable period of time . Hence you are dependent on them to that extent.
