H1B extension based on previous I-140

Hi,

I have an approved I-140 from employer A for more than 180 days. I have now switched to employer B and got a 3 year extension, till 2019, based on the approved I-140 from employer A.

My questions are:

1. Is it possible to continue using the I-140 from Employer A for extending the H1B beyond 2019?

2. Considering the current backlog of GC priority date (2008), my intention of I-140 is strictly from H1B extension purpose.

• Is it possible to keep the I-140 from employer A after moving to employer B rather than filing for I-140 again? This will allow me to switch employers again if the need arises.

3. Any consequence of not filing I-140 with the new employer?
