Emplyment change after getting Green card

I am working with the current employer for 10 years and moved to US before 2 years on H1. My company filed Green card for me during 2016 June (140 and 485 together). My green card got approved on Jan 5th 2017. Is there an issue if I join a new employer in May 2017? Is there any minimum period which I need to serve with the current employer who filed my Green card?

There is no minimum period. It is recommended to stay for an year under most circumstances. Why are you changing your job? If the employer is letting you go, you are fine. If you are getting a job with more salary and better career prospects in the same field, you may be  fine. But discuss the specifics with a Lawyer to make sure everything seems as kosher as possible.

The nature of Job is the same. Yes it is more for better prospects and location preference. In my current job, there is a lot of travel involved and in the new job, my travel is limited. Nature and job role remains almost same
