L1A to h1 Conversion

Hi All,

 

I am currently on h1-b and my husband is on L1-A. His company will not be filing for his GC. So we decided to file 539 form for change of status.

Could someone pls help me understand below questions in 539 form (part 3: processing information). What options should i be selecting in my case?

1. Is this application based on an extension or change of status already granted to your spouse, child or parent?

Options: 

a. Yes

b. No

 

2. Is this application based on a separate petition or application to give your spouse, child or parent an extension or change of status?

Options:

a. Yes, filed with this i-539

b. No

c. Yes, filed previously and pending with USCIS
