H1b grace period after being fired

I have been fired from my current position with a two week notice. Now do I have to find another employer within 2 weeks? Do I have grace period of 60 days? If I find an employer within that period will my transfer go through fine? Also I'm on my 7th year in H1b, have i140 approved and my visa is valid until 2020. Does this mean ill be cap exempt when I get another job after 60 days?
