Rina.Kumar
Both my husband and I are eligible for naturalization this year, 2017. However my husband is NOT planning to change his citizenship. If only I change citizenship, can our child, who is 14 years, also change citizenship this year? Link to comment
JoeF
Yes, the child automatically gets US citizenship if one parent naturalizes. See https://www.murthy.com/2011/05/27/derivative-citizenship-children-of-naturalized-u-s-citizens/ Link to comment
