americUSvish
Hello All, By following Murthy forum and the followers, I don't want to leave behind in mentioning my successful visa stamping happened at Matamoros on 14-Feb. went by car starting from Irving to Brownsville accompanied by spouse and kid. started at 7 AM reached the destination by 4 PM. ASC appointment took around 15 mins CSC appointment took around 10 mins For me the basic questions were asked, interviewed by Man with glasses. VO: Do you still work for ABCD Company Me: Yes, I still work for ABCD company VO: what is your role Me: DDDDD Developer VO: what does your company do Me: this and that VO: where is the company based Me: City, State VO: what is annual Salary Me: the number Gave yellow slip to pick the passport @ 3 PM Didn't ask any questions to Spouse. Seeing no more questions/information coming, I did check with the VO. Me: Are we all done? VO: yes you are all done, with no complications you should expect the passport to pick @ 3 pm Greeted and left, all happened in around 7 mins, of which 4 mins were silence between myself and VO. Because the VO was typing in the responses, would suggest to keep the answers as short as possible. Picked the passport @ 3 PM, started crossing border reached CBP office around 3: 25 PM. The first officer was asking for reason of travel and what were you bringing back. Answered to her questions and requested for I-94, for which she gave a orange slip with asked to go inside and submit it. went inside and gave the passport, slip the CBP officer asked: Do you work for this company? Me: yes I still for ABCD company CBP officer: told to take seat and will call me back (he went to other window closed his counter) came back and called me after 15 mins, took finger prints and photo. Got all the required information from passport and asked for US address. To the information i have, while traveling we need to hand over the present I-94 from I 797 form. checked with CBP officer, should i hand over present I-94. For which CBP officer asked, do you still have it? mentioned yes and he tore the part of I-94 and returned back the I-797. paid $12 and gave back the passports with I-94 stapled. left Brownsville around 4:20 pm reached Irving by 2 AM.
