I-485 transferred to California service center

I have an employment based I-485 application that was initially submitted to NSC. I got a notice that the case is moved to CSC. Now that is very unusual as the cases for employment base I-485 applications are processed at either NSC or TSC.

Even if this was a routine transfer, the processing times are close to 2 years instead of 6 to 10 months. I also sweeped the receipt numbers around my number and haven't found a single I-485 appln.

Any thoughts here? Thanks.

Hello, 

I'm in the exact same situation.

I just questioned my attorney and she replied with this:

"The information found online is not necessarily updated, as it should be. We believe that the transfer of the case is to expedite the processing, not to delay it even further. Hopefully, that is the case."
