H4 visa to GC process

Hi Team

Currently I am on H1B visa till Dec 2017. My wife is on H4 dependent visa. My company is about to file GC for us by next month before April. As my wife is also in IT I am planning to apply for H1B for her in 2017 lottery in April. So my question is if my company will file GC for her and by that time we are applying the H1 then will both contradict each other ? Will the GC process affect her H1B status?
