Prathu Posted February 2, 2017 Report Share Posted February 2, 2017 Hello All, I have a situation where I travelled to INDIA when my extension was in progress in May 2016. I got stamped on my old Petition which was valid till August 2016. When I entered US , they gave me a new I-94 and end date till Aug 2016. Meanwhile my extension was approved on old I-94 till Jan 2019. I have a expired new I-94 and approved I-797C till Jan 2019 on old I-94. What would be my status in this Condition ?? . what actions I need to take ?? Appreciate your help!!! Link to comment

You mean, your new I797 was approved before I-94 (August 2016) expired? I have a expired new I-94 and approved I-797C till Jan 2019 on old I-94. Don't you have a new i-94 attached to I797 approval notice? The same scenario happened to my dependent(H4), she traveled to India while our extension was in the process and got i-94 at POE till 2/12/17 at the return on 10/31/16. Our new visa extension got approved on 12/22/16 and untill 8/16/2019. But we got an i-94 attached to I797 approved petitions valid from 12/22/16 to 8/16/2019. I am also finding i-94 attached to I797 will be valid for her... Link to comment
