reddevilme
Hi, I have recently changed jobs and my new employer filed for an H-1B which was approved till 2019. But my I-94 is only valid till September 2017 (Expiry of my old employer's H-1B). Is there a way my I-94 can be extended without me going for a stamping? Link to comment

Did you not get a new I-94 attached with the new I-797 copy from new employer? Link to comment
reddevilme
Hi Shekar, Thanks for your response. I did get a new I 94 (expiry August 2019) with the I-797. I traveled to Mexico in September 2016 and while entering the US, it looks like my new I-94 expiry date was overridden by the CBP at the POE. My I-94 online shows that it expires in September 2017.
