citizen2019
I have a Family based Green card. I was arrested for prostitution in 2014 (guilty, case expunged, but still shows up in FBI fingerprinting). Given the new executive order for deportation of criminals (even if not convicted etc), am I technically deportable ? Cant apply for citizenship for a few years Link to comment
pleaseforgive358
Trump's memo says: removable aliens. Which means that with current rules the person becomes removable i.e. he she is undocumented or is in US on a valid status but something has changed - e.g. convicted of felony then they will be deported. I think in your case you should be fine. But again you never know. When and where did this happen? did this happen before you got your gc? or after you got your gc? What was the outcome of the case? How do you know that the arrest shows up in FBI fingerprinting? Have you traveled in/out of US? Link to comment
