shekar11# Posted January 17, 2017 Report Share Posted January 17, 2017 If you are an Indian citizen: Why do you need a emergency visa to go to India. You can go right away. Also if you are looking for an emergency visa appointment at a US consulate for coming back to US, your reason is not valid. Emergency visas are only for folks who have an emergency in US and need to travel back immediately. Work does not qualify an an emergency. If you are a US citizen: Yes, you can get a emergency visa appointment at an Indian embassy in US. Link to comment
