pompi
I became a US citizen Sept 2016. I received my US Naturalization certificate. I didn't get my US passport and new SSN document since I became a citizen. Meanwhile I applied I130 for my dad and sent the original US Naturalization certificate to USCIS. I do have a copy of the Naturalization certificate. I am planning to switch employer but I am in a dilemma how to provide proof of citizenship since I don't have the original US Naturalization certificate. https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/acceptable-documents shows me what documents are allowed. I am focusing on List A since I am a citizen. Does anyone know if my copy of US Naturalization will suffice my employer until I get my original one back from USCIS? The I130 for my dad is pending, my priority date is Oct and current is June. Link to comment
