H1b stamping after getting a criminal traffic ticket

Hi,

I will be travelling to India in 13th Dec and need my passport to be stamped. 3 weeks back I got a criminal traffic (phoenix, az) ticket due to over speeding. I haven't scheduled my visa interview so far. wanted to know the criminal traffic ticket have any impact on the visa stamping ? I called the court and they said that it will be treated as class 3 misdemeanor. I can't clear by giving exam since I already use that option 2 months back while getting a civil ticket. should I contact a lawyer and fight the case ? any quick help/suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Just pay the fine and get written or official evidence that the case is closed.

Don't try to save money by fighting. Sometimes it is better to close the issue than fight it and open the possibility of it haunting you in future immigration pursuits like a green card application.
