sappiaish
My husband has been issued I-94 that admits untill January 2017 although his H1B is valid till June 2017 after which he can opt for extension. Me and my son are in H4 and travelled along with my husband together on the same day same flight. But we are issued I-94 that admits until June 2017. All three I-94 cards are issued at the same time from the same place (same POE). 1.Can there be a mistake by the Customs & Border Protection Officer while issuing my Husband's I-94(the admit until date). If so, where can we correct it? 2. I need to travel to India for few weeks in March 2017(have valid H4 & I-94 till June 2017). If my H4 extension process starts in January, can I be able to go? Will I face any problem while entering back in US? Link to comment
pontevecchio
1. Possible. He should inform his employer about it and see whether they want to file his extension in January to circumvent this. 2. Valid H4 and I94 have no meaning to a person returning. You need a H4 visa and his H1 petition approval to return. Link to comment
