dineshalster@gmail.com
Hi Murthy and Team, I am here in US from December 2015, and my employer has started my GC process. I want to get EAD for my Wife asap. She is currently on H4. Some questions/Queries I have regarding GC process. I will really appreciate the answers to below as this will help me understand the time required to get EAD. As per my conversation with my employers immigration team , below is the Processing Timeline : • Initial Conversation for Job Description : 1 to 2 Months • Prevailing Wage Determination : About 2 months • Recruitment and Filing : 3 to 6 months • PERM Labor Approval : 2 to 8 months. ( as of August 2014, PERM approval time is 6 months) Currently, my case is at "Prevailing Wage Determination" stage. *I have moved in US on H1B in Dec 2015, Does it benefit to convert my current case to Premium? What are Pros and Cons of it? *How much over all time does it reduce if I ask them to convert it to the premium process? * Does process can be converted to Premium only after Labor Certified? *After getting I-140, how much time does it take to get EAD? Regards, Dinesh L Link to comment
rahul412
There is no premium processing for labor approval. Only for I140. You need to chill and relax, there are thousands of ppl waiting for EAD eagerly since decade. Link to comment
