Is H1B stamping required if I change employer?

Hello All,

 

I have got my H1B initially with employer X and went to India and got my H1B stamping with expiry of Sept 2017, now I got my H1B transferred to a different employer and I got I-797 approval till June 2019.

 

I am planning on going to India during Feb 2017, do I need to get stamping again or Can I come back to US with previous employer stamping and with new I-797 approval.

 

I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

You don't need another stamping as u have valid stamping with ur old employer details
