H1 visa holder switching the company after Visa Appointment booked for family in India

My H1B is transferred from company A to Company B. I have joined the new Company B.
My family is in India for Vacation. They have a scheduled appointment for visa stamping in Sep 2016 with old I-797 approval (Company A petition). I heard that we can resubmit new DS-160 from with new Company B petition, and we can go for the same visa appointment. Is it ok? Did anyone experience this kind of situation? Please suggest?

Yes you can submit new Ds 160 . When go for finger printing appointment u will be allowed to make final changes to ur visa appointment .

 

Generally finger print appointment is 1 day before the actual visa interview
