itsme8
Hi, I am Green Card Holder. My wife is in USA on work permit visa. I applied I-130 for my wife in Jan 2016 and it got approved. I want to apply GC EAD for my wife once priority dates are current. In Visa Bulletin i happen to see below two dates. 1. Final Action Date for family sponsored preference case - 15 NOV 2014 2. Dates for filing family sponsored visa application - 22 NOV 2015. To apply GC EAD for my wife which date should i consider is it Final Action Date/Dates for filing . What is the difference between both the dates? Link to comment
JoeF
In the Visa Bulletin, there is also a link to a USCIS webpage explaining which date can be used. Link to comment
eb2dec2008
I would need some advise on the F2A family based immigration. I have an EB2 priority date of Dec 2008 and have missed the boat twice and currently have an EAD. My husband has a green card and would like to know details about F2A. We got married in Aug 2014, and currently the F2A cutoff date is 22nd Dec 2014. Does that mean I can file both I-130 and I-485 concurrently now and get my family based greencard once they are processed and approved? And how long would it take in my case? Or does that mean that I have to file I-130 now and once I get a priority date let's say Nov 2016, and I need to wait until F2A date becomes Nov 2016 I need to apply for I-485? Can you please elaborate on the F2A filing process criteria Thanks Link to comment
