Change of employer with I-140 receipt number

Hi,

 

My I-140 got approved recently (Now I am in End of 6th year), but I don't have my I-140 approval copy, I have only I-140 receipt Number( SRC**********). Can I Change to new employer with Receipt number? Can I get 3 extension with new employer?

it varies from employer to employer. some employers requires copy of I140, some don't. it really depends on the immigration firm they have and their processes.

you can get copy of I140 by requesting under FIOA. in the document needed ask "copy of approved I 140 only" and request track 1 processing. you should get the document in 4 to 6 weeks. if you get track 2, they take 6-8 months for that.

Thanks for the update. How can i request in track 1? will they charge any fee for that?.

I heard from previous post in this forum, if we apply in FIOA they will provide only copy of approved I-140 application not I-797 copy, is that true?.
