I have attended visa on Thursday July 29th for H1B visa for renewal in Delhi, i have been told your visa is approved by VO, she did not specify any timeline. She has kept my H1B copy along with my passport. Today 30th i am checking it says Administrative processing and it takes several weeks to process your application.. Is it normal to hold i-797 along with passport? I have not been given any slips for 221g or anything. This is my 11th year in USA. Not sure exactly what it means, please shed some light if some one else in same situation. Link to comment
