Question on 7th yr extn based on Approved I-140, current I-94/H1B expires on DEC 2016

Hi, Could you please suggest when would be the best time for me to file H1B Extension?

 

Country of birth: INDIA

H1B/I-94 Expires on 12/17/2016 (max out)

PERM Filed on 02/03/2016

I-140 premium Approved on 07/27/2016

 

I see that we can file for H1 extn 6 months prior to its end date, as of today I have 4 months to Max Out date.

1. Is it advisable to file now itself in premium? Or should I wait and then file it after 2 months?
2. Is it advisable to travel INDIA in this period? (stamping pending for my previous extensions itself)

Which will be less risky?
