I have applied my GC LCA and I-140 is approved couple of years back, in labor title was Programmer/Software Developer -- I was working as developer. My current client is offfering fultime but the job title will be "Quality Engineer" where the responsibilties will be more of QA. If I apply GC with my client up on taking offer, when applied for GC will I be able to port the previous PD though I have different job title and job responsibilities.. will there be any problems ?? pontevecchio Posted July 20, 2016 Report Share Posted July 20, 2016 It has been usually possible to do PD Retention irrespective of the nature of the other job. I would suggest going through the matter with a law firm to maximize your chance of PD retention. Link to comment
