I didn't got H1B in lottery last year, as my OPT term was ending so I changed my status to new F1 - CPT. While I was changing my status from OPT to new masters CPT there is a gap of 50 days & during all this time I was working full time for a Company A. I joined company A while I was on OPT. This year my H1B got picked with Company A . My payroll ran for this 50 days while I was in Company A.
While filing my H1B this year HR at my company A is asking for my non-immigration status for those 50 days. Is it okay that my payroll ran for those 50 days at Company A. Let me know, thank you!
