  1. Yes you can pay PP fees. what you need is form i907 and receipt number of your petition. attorney has to upgrade you can not do it..
  2. If you are currently in H1b status and your i-94 is valid then you are in h1b status. If your i-94 expire and h1 extn is pending then you do not have any status but you are in period of authorized stay until h1 extn petition gets adjudicated or 240 days from i-94 expiry whichever comes first.
  3. I have seen character limit issue on applicant name so it is possible they have character limit on petitioner name as well on notice. however it should not matter normally they always have full name in their systems.
  4. #1 he do not need to wait for COS approval. He can go anytime assuming consulate are open and allowing h4 appointments. Just be cautious about travelling these days. #2 He wont have any status but he will be in period of authorized stay until H1 to H4 COS gets approved or until he gets h4 stamping whatever occurs first. #3. He can apply but it wont called H1 tansfer because he is not in h1 status or h4 status. he is in period of authorized stay so for new H1 petition to approve first H1b to H4 COS status must get approved. you should consult attorney regarding same.
  5. if you start working for company B after transfer. You should move to company B location or near to company B location. your work location must be within commutable distance from company B which can be wfh but it should be within commutable distance.
  6. Company A can revoke your petition right away or later time it does not matter. As soon as they terminate your employment you have 60 days to find other job assuming you have valid I-94 and it is not expiring in next 60 days. As long as Company B file h1 transfer before that 60 days you should be ok. Company B can not know what happen at company A unless you tell them.
  7. please check with your attorney regarding this.
  8. this should not happen. it seems some bug in their system.
