  1. 1. No such thing as Dropbox for this visa. In fact, there are 2 Interviews. 2. You do not mention any details. If she returns as a GC holder, the child is eligible for a GC with certain caveats. No question of visa or visa waiver in these circumstances. 3. see 2. 4. No A reentry permit would have prevented this issue. You should discuss the matter with a lawyer with all the facts, specially so if there is a pregnancy-related complication preventing travel.
  2. A visa stamp has nothing to do with status. You can apply for a COS to B2 which will give you more time.
  3. Since you will need an I-20 with the travel signature from your College International Center, you will do well to interact with them about what they consider important documents to carry. Hopefully, they are aware of your job. You are allowed to travel and return.
  4. There is no question of overstay when one has filed for an extension of status and left before the decision.
  5. I would urge you to consult a lawyer given the extreme importance of the matter. Forums have their uses. But some matters need a lawyer to guide you.

  15. Any stay of more than 6 months and less than one year leads to a rebuttable presumption of loss of eligibility. The rebuttal may include proof of paying taxes here, a house here, and so on. If you qualify on all other counts, you may be able to be approved. M-476.pdf (uscis.gov) This is the only source. Read it very carefully.
  16. Ordinarily, you would retain the PD.
  17. You should call the Indian Embassy and get the passport renewed.
  18. The EAD you have permits unrestricted work. If you use the EAD, the H1 status is gone. Working for two companies at the same time is subject to Contractual limitations.
  19. As regards the Bankruptcy question, you should touch base with a bankruptcy lawyer for appropriate guidance. You can contact the appropriate bank and speak to the financial hardship department to see whether they accept a lesser amount in full payment. The only people benefiting from debt consolidators are the consolidators. Get yourself a free account with FICO and post your situation in the appropriate forum. In case you leave without paying, the effect on your credit rating will last for a few years. Are you saying you have no money left in shares? or in any other form. Per se financial issues are not necessarily directly concerned in the process of Immigration.
  20. What makes you think Homeland Security was involved? Talk to an Immigration Lawyer with facts.
  21. You may not be subject to the cap. You should be entitled to 6 years in H1 status. Many variables. Is the original sponsor company still existing? You should consult the Murthy firm or any of your choice before starting to look for H1 sponsors.
  22. Only Immediate relatives in the USA needed to be mentioned. A cousin is not an Immediate relative. You should get some guidance from the firm of Murthy in Chennai as applying again may have the same result.
  23. Yes. They seem to be having 2 approaches. In your case, the new approval will kick in from the date of approval. You are fine.
