  1. Printing mistake or not ...it is not your problem. I see no issue whatsoever if your friend stays in us as his/her h1b is approved until 2022.
  2. Staying with expired Indian passport is not illegal. Wait until the embassy opens
  3. Send an email or text your employer that you will be filing a case with DOL. if he doesn't respond then You can file a case with DOL. You can reach out to the DOL office (location near your employer not client) Not sure if they are open during this time. You can call them and find out. or Google WH4 form DOL and you can email it to the DOL office or mail the docs.
  4. You need to say yes your visa has been rejected and the date when it was rejected. Not sure how much impact it has if you say yes, but if you say no, you will be banned from applying US visa for five years or permanently for providing false information.
  5. VO: Help me understand your EVC model then? What did you explain about EVC model?
  6. Hello ppl, I'm currently on H1b Visa and recently had to change my employer(h1b transferred in May) as my old company was about to shutdown. I was with my previous employer for over 9 years and still working for the same client for over 5 years. I have approved i-140 with my old employer. I haven't started any GC process with my new employer yet. I'm currently working at Client's place (EVVC model). I'm planning for my H1b stamping sometime this year(Canada,Mexico or Jamaica). I had my last h1b visa stamping done in Vancouver. Here are my questions. 1.Based on my situation, can someone suggest me the best or safe place to go for visa stamping, where the turnaround times are fast (passport pick if visa approved or incase of any 221g)? 2. Is it ok to go for stamping with out initiating GC process with my current employer? Thanks in advance.
  7. All the existing visas will be revoked. You will have to wait until your 221g is cleared
  8. If COS is not approved then you need to go out of your the country and get the h1b visa stamped.
  9. Congratulations. are you a contractor working at a client place or FT?
  10. Hello ppl, I've been working with an employer A for over 9 years and client A for 5 years. My employer A called me and asked me to transfer to another company as he is shutting down the company. I recently (couple of months ago) transferred to employer B, but still working with Client A. Now I'm planning to go for visa stamping (preferably canada), my only concern is does it raise any flag or will it be an issue if there is change of employer for the same client? I know we shouldn't lie to the VO, but is it ok to say that I transferred cuz the company was about to shutdown? Thanks in advance.
